The challenge

If you don't know why your business won't sell, you can't fix it

Most owners "sort of" know the business leans on them too heavily but they can't see exactly where, or how much it's costing them. So they:

  • Keep guessing which part of the business to fix first
  • Throw systems and software at the problem without a plan
  • Rely on staff "doing their best" instead of a reliable system
  • Leave value on the table at every point a buyer looks

Without an objective view of how owner-dependent you are and a prioritised plan you're just reacting, while the clock ticks toward a sale that discounts you 1–2× EBITDA for it.

Before the Saleability Review

  • No single, honest view of how the business really runs
  • Gut feel about why it won't sell for what you want, but no data-backed clarity
  • Systems and succession depend on what's in your head
  • "I'll sort it before I sell" with no plan and no timeline

  • Unsure where to start or what will actually move the valuation

After the Saleability Review

  • A clear map of how owner-dependent the business really is, stage by stage
  • Specific dependence points identified with examples and impact on value
  • Your valuation gap quantified: what it's worth today vs. systemised
  • A prioritised list of fixes and systems to install, in order
  • A practical roadmap you can use internally or with RevampBiz to move into Build

Our Mission

Clarity first. Then systems, handover, and a clean exit.

You don't need another "transformation vision." You need clarity on where the business is actually trapped behind you, and what it's costing you.

The Saleability Review gives you that clarity.

We focus on owner-run businesses trades, services, wholesale, manufacturing, health and more so we understand relationship-driven operations and the realities of a business that runs on its owner.

By the end of the engagement, you'll know:

  • Where the business is overcooked and dependent on you
  • Which specific fixes and systems will lift saleability most
  • What to tackle first to de-risk, scale, or sell

From there, you can move confidently into your Build with us or without us.

Most businesses complete the Review in days to a couple of weeks, depending on complexity and how quickly we can get time with you and key staff. We agree a clear timeline before we start.

  • Access to how the business currently runs (operations, systems, books, key tools)
  • A small set of people for short interviews (you, someone from ops/admin, and 1–2 frontline staff)
  • Any existing process docs or SOPs you already have (if any)

We do the heavy lifting. Your team’s time commitment is usually 3–5 hours total.

We run the engagement in The RevampBiz Portal at app.revampbiz.co, so you can raise requests and follow progress in one place.

No. The Review is diagnostic and strategic. You get a clear map, a de-riskability score, an owner-dependence impact read, and prioritised recommendations. The actual build happens in the Build service if you choose to proceed.

Yes. The roadmap is built to be implementation-ready. You can use it internally, hand it to your existing advisors or vendors, or ask us to build it via the Build service.

This isn't a number on a page. The Review is specifically focused on how owner-dependent the business really is, where the value leaks across operations, and the specific systems that would fix it. A broker tells you what it’s worth today; we show you what’s dragging that number down and how to fix it.

No. Whether you want to sell now, sell in a few years for more, scale it, or just step back the Review shows you the same thing: how dependent the business is on you, and how to fix it. The earlier you do it, the more value you capture.

You have three options:

  1. Do nothing (not recommended, but it’s your call)
  2. Implement parts of the roadmap internally or with your existing vendors
  3. Move into Build and have us design, build, and hand over the systems for you
